Guide for student representatives in our student homes

Every campus has its local student host or event coordinator who will be your contact person. You will receive the contact details to your contact per email after the resident meeting.

You can always contact Studentinord at +47 476 20 800 or bolig@studentinord.no.

As a housing representative you can bring up cases that students you live with report to you, or matters that interests the housing community with Studentinord.

You can forward positive and negative critique, questions about social activities or other matters you find important for the tenants' wellbeing.

At Studentinord we value your opinions. We are here to guide and support, and to provide you with tools for social activities.

Talk about codes of conduct between those who share housing facilities. Let the first thing you do be a meeting where you discuss the following:

• What does it mean to be a good flat mate?
• Is it OK to borrow things without asking?
• What about parties and visitors?
• Cleaning routines.
• Kitchen rules.
• Experienced tenants should take care of newcomers and talk about routines.
• Establish a digital channel for everybody.
• Apply for means for social activities

What would you like to do to strengthen the social environment? Examples:

• Pizza night
• Christmas craft workshop
• Cooking courses - cook together
• Quiz with proces
• Board games
• Movie night
