Great location and many facilities

The student home is located by the Steinkjer river. Guldbergaunet stadium with football fields, running track and tennis courts is close by, as is Steinkjerhallen (sports centre) with fitness center, climbing wall, sportshall, gymnastics facilities and indoor running track. Here the Steinkjer students’ sportsclub (SSI) have their practices. The area inspires to all kinds of outdoor activities, from barbeque to work outs.

You can walk to central Steinkjer and Nord University in 10 minutes following a path along the river. It is even shorter to the closest grocery store.

Housing types for all needs

Guldbergaunet student home consist of six separate wooden buildings with 65 housing units in total. Here you can rent affordable bedsits with shared kitchen and bathroom, or various one room, tow room and three room apartments. One of the buildings has o common livingroom/TV room and a laundry.

All apartments and bedsits are furnished, and you can rent a parking place.

IT IS SMART TO APPLY EARLY

You do not have to document an offered place of study to submit a housing application. You can also terminate the contract within 24 July without having to pay for the notice period, if you are offered housing, but don’t get in to the university.
